GFAN AP and partners bring a three-part series webinar on mental health which aims to (1) Raise awareness on the bidirectional relationship of HIV, TB and mental health; (2) Host a platform for thoughtful dialogue on highlighting key challenges and opportunities and translating global priorities into tangible country-level actions around integrating mental health into HIV & TB programming and (3) Facilitate ideas and call to action among target audience in ensuring that person-centred care for HIV and TB are inclusive of mental health services.
Specifically, the first of the three-part series aims to: (1)To provide an overview of the bidirectional relationship between HIV, TB and mental health; (2) To make a case for the programmatic and economic benefits of addressing the mental health needs of individuals living with HIV and/or TB; and (3) To situate the issue of mental health within the GF strategy and identify opportunities within the GF grants for the integration of mental health services for key populations.
