8 Methods I used to LOSE 100 POUNDS in 2023. Here are the methods and tips I used to lose weight and change my life permanently! Helpful tips to keep you on track to achieve your goals and keep your resolutions all year.
* Set Realistic Goals and be Specific: That could be two tips, I guess but we’ll make it one. You want to ensure your resolutions are achievable and realistic. Large goals should be broken down into smaller, easily achievable steps. A small win will help you stay motivated.
* An example would be to tell yourself that today, not worrying about tomorrow, today, no I’ll eat no deserts, or today I only eat eggs and bacon with breakfast and skip the toast and hash browns. Or today I will just have coffee in the morning and will wait for lunch to eat. Simple and small, one step at a time, one win at a time.
* Celebrate Small Wins: Acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishments along the way. Recognizing even small achievements can provide positive reinforcement and keep you motivated. Just avoid the slippery slope of rewarding yourself with what you’re trying to avoid.
* I mean what good would it do for me, if I set my goal small, this morning I will not smoke a doobie with coffee in the morning, then reward myself with a big bong hit for dinner. Maybe not the best analogy, but I want to use my resolution as an example.
* Track Your Progress: Keep a journal or use an app to monitor your progress. Regularly reviewing your achievements will boost your motivation and help you identify areas that may need adjustment.
* Stay Flexible: Life is unpredictable, and you may encounter obstacles. Be flexible and open to adjusting your plans as needed. Adaptability is crucial for long-term success.
* Share Your Goals: Tell friends, family, or a support group about your resolutions. Having a support system can provide encouragement, motivation, and accountability.
* Visualize Success: Imagine yourself achieving your goals. Visualization can be a powerful tool for maintaining focus and motivation
* Establish Habits: Forming positive habits can make it easier to stick to your resolutions. Consistency is key, so aim to integrate your resolutions into your daily routine.
* Learn from Setbacks: If you encounter setbacks, don't be too hard on yourself. Learn from the experience, adjust your approach if necessary, and keep moving forward.
* Stay Positive: Cultivate a positive mindset. Focus on the progress you've made rather than dwelling on any setbacks. A positive attitude can be a powerful force in achieving your goals.
* Seek Professional Help: If your resolutions involve complex or challenging tasks, consider seeking guidance from professionals, such as a personal trainer, nutritionist, or career coach.
