Alfie Templeman - Happiness in Liquid Form. An exclusive live performance for Vevo DSCVR ARTISTS TO WATCH 2021, an annual series highlighting those that are shaping the future of music.

We were lucky enough to work with Alfie Templeman this past summer. His two acoustic performances nicely captured the stay-at-home moment - hanging solo in the backyard, with chirping birds for company. The 17-year-old has had an active 2020. The ‘Happiness in Liquid Form’ EP arrived in July, two months later he dropped “Forever Isn’t Long Enough,” and oh yeah, out of the blue a cassette tape entitled 'bouquet beats' arrived for truly dedicated fans to snatch up. The kid stays busy ’cuz he wants to stay present. “One of the most fun parts of doing this is that I look at the future in the same way that I DON'T look at YouTube comments,” he recently told Dork magazine. “I think it would scare me.” Living in the moment is a wise call these days, especially when his moment includes co-signs from BBC1's Annie Mac, who named the singer's “Obvious Guy” the ‘Hottest Record in the World.’ As you’ll see in our Artists To Watch 2021 performances, Alfie's not afraid to stomp the fuzz box and rock out. If you're burning for that rush of seeing a live band, Alfie and the lads' “Happiness In Liquid Form” and “Wait, I Lied” will quench ya. He says if things go well pandemic-wise, he’ll be touring in the spring. Fingers crossed. We can’t wait to see this guy in front of an audience.
