In today’s video, we are going to talk about top ten American idol Contestants of 2021. So before starting this video please like this video and subscribe to our channel for future updates.
Season 19 of American Idol premiered on ABC on February 14th, 2021. It is the show's fourth season to air.

Ryan Seacrest returned as host while Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan returned as judges, and Bobby Bones returned as mentor.
On April 12, Paula Abdul filled in for Bryan.

The auditions for season 19 were held at, Los Angeles, California on October 5, 2020, San Diego, California on October 16, 2020 and Ojai, California on November 16, 2020.


Number 1. Caleb Kennedy.
16 years old Caleb is from Roebuck, South Carolina. Caleb sang an original song called "Nowhere" in the auditions and All three judges voted "yes". In the Hollywood round, he sang "Too Close" by Alex Clare. In the top 24’s, Caleb sang "Midnight Rider" by The Allman Brothers Band and "Fly Over States" by Jason Aldean. He sang Caleb sang "Midnight Train to Memphis" by Chris Stapleton for top 16’s and "On the Road, Again" by Willie Nelson (from Honeysuckle Rose) for the top 12’s. Caleb sang "Real Gone" by Sheryl Crow (from Cars) in top 10’s and advanced to the next round.


Number 2. Willie Spence.

Willie Spence, from Coffee County, Georgia, sang "Diamonds" by Rihanna while auditioning in San Diego and got a ‘yes’ from all three judges.

In Hollywood round, He sang "All of Me" by John Legend. He was later shown in a duet called "Destin2Be" with Kya Monee singing "Stay" by Rihanna, ft. Mikky Ekko. During the Showstoppers Round, he sang "I Was Here" by Beyonce. Afterwards, during the Final Judgment, the judges told him that he did enough to become a Top 24 semifinalist.
Willie sang "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler and "The Prayer" by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli in a duet for top 24. He sang "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele for top 16, "Stand Up" by Cynthia Erivo (from Harriet) and sang "Circle of Life" by Elton John (from The Lion King), and was considered safe in all rounds.



Number 3. Deshawn Goncalves.
This 19 year old from Cleveland Ohio sang "Everything Must Change" by Nina Simone in his audition. Deshawn sang "Stay" by Rihanna in Hollywood round. He later sang "Forever Young" by Bob Dylan and "I Lived" by OneRepublic in top 24, "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone in top 16 and "The Way We Were" by Barbra Streisand (from The Way We Were) in top 12. Sadly, in top 10 he received lowest number of votes and was eliminated when he sang "When You Wish Upon a Star" by Cliff Richards (from Pinocchio).


Number 4. Casey Bishop.
Casey, a 15-year-old from Estero, Florida Auditioned in Ojai. She sang "Livewire" by Motley Crue and was selected by all three judges.
During the Showstoppers Round, she sang "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes. In later rounds she sang "Decode" by Paramore and "Wish You Were Here" by Incubus top 24, "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden in top 16, "Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland (from The Wizard of Oz) in top 12 and "When She Loved Me" by Sarah MacLachlan (from Toy Story 2) in top 10 and received enough votes to be safe in all rounds.



Number 5. Chayce Beckham.
24 year old Chayce Beckham is from Apple Valley, California. He sang "What Brings Life Also Kills" by Kolton Moore & The Clever Few in his audition in Los Angeles. In the Hollywood round, Chayce sang "July" by Noah Cyrus. For top 24’s, Chayce sang sang "Afterglow" by Ed Sheeran and "Drive" by Incubus. He later sang "Waiting in Vain" by Bob Marley & The Wailers for the top 16’s, "(Everything I Do) I Do it For You" by Bryan Adams (from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) for the top 12’s and "Baby Mine" by Betty Noyes (from Dumbo) for the top 10’s, and received enough votes to be considered safe.


Number 6. Alyssa Wray.
Wray, a 18 year old from Perryville, Kentucky, sang "I Am Changing" by Jennifer Hudson in her audition. In the Hollywood round, she sang "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. For the top 24’s, She sang "Something in the Water" by Carrie Underwood and "I'm Your Baby Tonight" by Whitney Houston. In top 16’s, she sang "Killing Me Softly With His Song" by Roberta Flack, and "This is Me" by Keala Settle (from The Greatest Showman) for the top 12’s. Alyssa was voted off in the top 10’s when she sang "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" by Ilene Woods (from Cinderella) eliminating her from the competition.
