At the beginning of the 90s, the Berlin Machinery label was one of the most important institutions of the EBM and techno scene. The first single of the Berlin duo And One was immediately the first release of the label as well as a big hit and floorfiller. "Metal Hammer" could convince both the friends of electro pop sounds like Depeche Mode and lovers of hard sounds like Nitzer Ebb. The record sold like hotcakes and was the starting point for an amazing career.
