The Cosby Show star Bill Cosby has gone down in history as one of the first convictions in the #MeToo era, though this conviction only brought with it a decade-long sentence. This sentence may seem incredibly light given the numerous incidents of sexual misconduct pressed against the comedian, but it came as a result of there being few accusations that fell within the statute of limitations.

Despite the fact that Bill seems to have gotten off relatively lightly, he still doesn’t seem to be willing to play ball with his captors. Bill has continuously refused to admit to being guilty of even the singular crime that he was convicted of, let alone the dozens more that he has been accused of. This refusal of admittance of guilt has lead to the comedian being unable to be deemed worthy of parole in his first hearing.

While Bill was given a decade-long sentence, it came with the caveat that he was eligible for parole hearings after the first three years. The first hearing just came up, and Bill was not at all willing to admit any form of guilt in the eyes of the public. Whether or not he will change his mind in the future remains unseen, though it appears to many that the aging star has simply succumbed to his fate to die behind bars.

After several bouts with failing health, Bill seems to be doing worse than ever during his Pennsylvania prison stay. Despite this, Bill has claimed that he views his confinement area more as a luxury penthouse than a cell. All in all, it appears as if the aging star has come to view his stay in prison as a kind of hospice, where he can be protected from coming to terms with the guilt of his numerous crimes.

Though Bill has routinely denied culpability for his crimes, he doesn’t seem to have much of an eye for life outside of prison. Many sources claim that the comedian has gone blind, while others say that he is unable to get around his living space without the aid of a helper.
