Today's video is the first part of a full flight series where we are going to fly from Berlin (EDDT) to Luxemburg (ELLX).
The goal of the video of today is to show you how you can handle the bad weather.
I'm going to show you what considerations you should make when calculating the performances for take-off.
You will see what runway conditions you should use, how much power you should use when taking off with crosswind and when to switch on the engine and wing anti-ice.
During the video, the weather will change and you will see what considerations I make after I calculated already the performances for a weather condition that is not applicable anymore due to the change.
On top of that, you will see how you can load your Boeing FMC and how to brief a SID chart.
I'm going to brief the engine failure scenario and you will learn how to be prepared for any situation.
