For those of you who do not know, a good COO (or manager, or director, or VP of Operations) typically does lion's share of back-breaking details-oriented work. The job is almost ballet-like, in that everybody involved has to follow a choreographed plan in order to achieve success. Operators don't sleep a lot.

A strong CEO is an asset to any organization because they sell the product and represent the company's image to the world.

in this episode, Dmitry talks about some of Xena's successes and failures in a way where you can almost imagine being there yourself. There are always struggles when building something that's never been built before and Xena was the first to market with attractive womens' work boots. it's not a spaceship, but as you'll see when you watch this episode, starting a company to manufacture a novel product is arduous.
