Demo Detour: Bite the Bullet by Alice In Chains
Like many of the heavy bands of the 90’s, Alice In Chains began life as a glam metal band in the 80’s. A band known as Sleze.
Layne Staley auditioned for the band with a cover of Motley Crue’s “Looks That Kill.” The band underwent many lineups before changing names to “Alice N Chains,” a reference to Alice in Wonderland.
