According to the many-worlds interpretation (MWI) of quantum mechanics, the universe is continually splitting apart as every quantum question is resolved in every possible way across an immense multiverse of parallel universes. All possibilities become actualities – they just exist in alternate realities. If this holds true, then a world must exist in which Jimi Hendrix survived the night of September 18, 1970, and went on to become the co–lead singer of Depeche Mode in the 1980s. Also plausible is a world in which this supergroup gave a live performance atop of the World Trade Center in NYC.
