Depeche Mode Cover - Suffer Well

My virtual cover performance of DM's Suffer Well - DM was inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame last year but it kinda went unnoticed because of the cancelled ceremony. I’ve always loved the videos that these guys produced for the their songs. Thats why I used a rolling video wall in parts of the staging presentation because as a video I guy I still see stuff on TV ads that I first saw back in some DM video from the 80s. My little way to honor these true MTV pioneers. I used that neon light wormhole because of the songs message and the actual DM video for this tune’s symbolism of the neon light zone. As for covering this musically, to be honest its not all me. DM put out an instrumental release of this tune so I used that as a base but double up on both bass and drums as well as some select keyboard parts to give me those individual tracks to boast up. I know guitar improving isn’t really an element of DM but I had to put my own little spin on it. I’ve been singing along to DM songs ever since People Are People back in the early eighties. Big congrats to Dave, Martin, Andy and and those behind the scenes people that produced these guys along the way.
