Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence

My wife passed away from leukemia six years ago. During her time in the hospital, which was only 16 days from diagnosis to her death, she was able to listen to a live broadcast of a Depeche Mode concert on a regional radio station one evening. Unfortunately, we found out about it so late that she could only listen to the last two-thirds of the songs, including ‘Enjoy the Silence’. At that time, we already had tickets for their 2017 tour at the Olympic Stadium in Munich. After she heard the last notes, she wrote to me that ‘Enjoy the Silence’ was her favorite Depeche Mode song. It was also one of the two songs that were played at her funeral. Therefore, this song holds a very special place in my heart.
