Depeche Mode is a new wave group that formed in Basildon, Essex, England in 1980.
"Music For The Masses" is their sixth studio album released by Mute Records September 28, 1987.
Vince Clarke (an original member) would go on to form Yazoo (Yaz) and is currently with Erasure.
Track #10 "Pimpf" contains periods of deliberate silence.
