An amazing piano cover of the great Depeche Mode song Policy Of Truth from 1990 Violator album.

Policy Of Truth was released in 1990 as their third single from the great Violator album. Written by Martin Gore and produced by DM & Flood. This is one of the many very successful songs created by DM, as we can see on the live performances as well. These kinds of DM songs are the most challenging to create in a piano version. The rhythmical electronic sounding is so perfectly made, that the idea of using only a piano requires a wholly new approach to reconstructing the song. It is inevitable to bring a dynamic sound into a more balladic mood if you want to preserve the essence and the beauty of the song in the cover using only a piano instrument. I have used no re-chord solutions, no own ideas, only I slowed down the BPM a little bit. It is easy to play on the piano, and still accurate according to the original version. I used the Octave Slow Strings as well with a couple of the original effects to get closer to the original feeling. It is easy to learn and play. Enjoy these beautiful melodies from the genius Martin Gore!
