Well what do you think Motley Crue did when they hit Vancouver in 1989 ? When they went to record Dr Feelgood with Legendary Producer Bob Rock (Metallica) and musician himself (Payolas, Rock N Hyde). How Canadian could this get? Well maybe not a Molson product is in this but Labatt's Blue comes into this story about the bad asses of Motley Crue (as Bob Rock puts it but has the band record Dr Foolgood alone as tensions were running high in Motley Crue at that time period. Due to some issues maybe caused by what happened at the Moscow Music Peace Festival...

But that is a totally different piece of journalism all in itself.

However lets take a trip through Dr Feelgood land of Vancouver BC and the history of Motley Crue.

There is a certain Labatt's Beer Blue Zone poster that was around the club scene back in places like the Metro / Outlaws and all the other clubs back then the Blue Zone poster girl was Pamela Anderson

Which the beer is available now in the USA and Canada

It is well worth the watch as you get some scenery from the Transit System of Vancouver BC Transit from The Province of BC. The video is interesting as it was filmed in 1984 to years before Vancouver Expo 86

However back to Motley Crue when they were around doing their Dr Feelgood CD they each recorded tracks by themselves so you would see the band members in clubs when they were not recording. When a certain player was done he is done time to party!!!

Members went from club to club just like Bon Jovi did when he recorded at Little Mountain Sound Studios

Information from Wikipedia

Little Mountain Sound Studios is a music recording facility located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. During the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, it was the most successful recording studio in Western Canada and was the home for many years to producers Bruce Fairbairn and Bob Rock. Little Mountain recorded albums by Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Metallica, Bryan Adams, Mötley Crüe, David Lee Roth, Loverboy, and the Cult among many others. In the mid 1990s Little Mountain would become part of Vancouver Studios; the facility would eventually evolve into Greenhouse Studios and would record albums by Nickelback, k.d. lang, Default, and Queensrÿche.
