To wrap the end of 2020, we decided to escape the Washington DC cold weather to the sunny Big Island of Hawaii. Around the start of our vacation, we woke up at 2am to hike the Pololū Valley and watch the sunrise from the beach. We started to record a small dance video but then Gideon surprised me with an engagement ring and popped the question!
