I found WASP a while back and really enjoy them. It's like a heavier Motley Crue, but their songs aren't overplayed. Johnny Rod is a character for sure, and it's basically Blackie Lawless 's show. He started the band and It's pretty much just hired guns beyond him. Because It's Blackie, It's with a pick.

First - Bass is really hard to hear
Second - I basically follows the guitars
third - The real rhythm doesn't really matter. Hit the right pitch in time and you'll be fine.
fourth - no good references (live videos/isolated bass/etc.)

Also, there are a few transcriptions going around. some say that it's basically all triplets the whole time. Others have it as swung 8th notes for pretty much the whole thing. Either way will sound right. WIth that being said I put way to much time into tabbing this one out. Do note, they are different techniques. It's hard to find a good video of the song for it though.

Blackie is the original bassist. Here you can hear/see bar 10
0:53 Blackie is doing triplets in the Verse. He doesn't really change
0:58, you can hear bar 9
1:02 Blackie starts the Verse with a slightly longer note. You can tell because his rhythm is off
1:41 Blackie does triplets in the chorus
2:14 you can see a bass fill

Bassist is doing the triplets throughout
1:17 holds the 5
bassist does triplets throughout.
3:57 you can see some notes he holds in solo

1:44 bassist playing with Blackie uses open A (Ab) rather than 5 on the E. Probably just a preference choice.
You can see the bassist somewhat well.

2:16 - bassist doing straight triplets int he chorus for the open A, swung 8th on the 1 on the E

There aren't too many videos live that show the band well. Kind of sad. Bass basically follows the guitar though.

Thanks for watching! Enjoy :)
