In case you still have to deal with ads when watching the video, let me assure you, it's not my fault. I do not monetize this video. However, as a connosieur of the original Depeche Mode song, you will notice the following:
1. I did not cover the original studio-version (which sounds like Nintendo), but the incredible 1984 live version, which sadly never had a studio released.
2. This is "my version" of what that studio release could have sounded like.
3. In case you are wondering why a robot is singing it instead of a real singer. It's because out of 2 notes, I will miss 4. Never in my life have I ever hit the right note. That's why my voice needs electronic support. Also I think robot voices are cool.
4. Very early versions of Ice Machine contained a final chorus that goes "the ice machine". They dropped that in the official releases for whatever reason. Since I always liked that final chorus, I put it in my version. For even more Ice-Machine-nerd-madness please visit: https://www.patreon.com/posts/95733642
