Even though he’s collaborated with the likes of Slash, I’m not sure that Lenny Kravitz is held in the same regard by Rock fans as some other acts in the genre. He’s seen more as a Pop/Crossover artist. Collaborations with the likes of Madonna have probably solidified that. BUT IMO, whatever came later, his second album ‘Mama Said’ is a certified classic!. What do you think?

Personally I’m a fan of the album Mama Said, describing it as "raw", "rootsy", "earthy", and "rock and roll". It has been an influence on the new Sabatta record, which is also described as "earthy", "dirty", "grimy", and "gritty". You’re gonna love it!
