World Asthma Day takes place in May of 2024. In this RuDASA webinar, Dr Shirani Naidoo, a Paediatrician from the Red Cross, updates us on managing asthma safely in children in our resource-tight settings with key tips on reducing mortality in our children due to asthma.

Dr Naidoo, a Paediatrician from the Red Cross, will update us on managing asthma safely in children in our resource-tight settings.
Shirani Naidoo is paediatrician with subspecialist training in Allergology who is currently a paediatric consultant in the Division of Emergency and Ambulatory Paediatrics at Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital.
Dr Naidoo has worked in in various sectors of the health care system, including public and private sectors , and has been at Red Cross since 2012.
Her interests are asthma , allergic conjunctivitis , managing long term health conditions in children and health education.
