This was the first and only song I wrote with a quasi reggae feel.
It was co written with Gus Mancini sax and keyboard player extraodinaire.
Recorded at a rehearsal in my living room on an old Teac deck with one microphone in the middle of the room.
It was purely for the band's listening purposes and not for the general public.
When Sing Song Music in the UK asked for more material, I sent them a bunch of older rehearsal songs .
They liked them and released them under the band name KALA .
I really like the jazzy/rock guitar solo by Adam Widoff who later went on to play with Lenny Kravitz.
