SIXTH Video: Age of Earth and Why It Matters

This video summarizes questions about the age of the earth. The answer is dependent on your world view. So, the naturalistic and biblical world views are compared and a general review of earth's age from each view are summarized. It may come as a surprise that the underlying assumptions about earth's age from a naturalistic world view are not nearly as definite as what the average educational resource suggests. While the channel videos are made to support a book and APP on the subject of a biblical world view, they are designed to summarize the answers to key questions the resource authors often hear. The primary source material is the first eleven chapters of Genesis, models and peer-reviewed material published by several sources (see the links).

Our book, eBook, and iBook are titled A Study of God’s Creation filled with Purpose, Direction, and Consequence by Roland K. Beard III. However, our primary intention is give the free cell phone APP and materials to those that do not have access to resources. For this APP, go to Google Play. In the APPs search window, type “Creation Study”. Look for the hand emblem.

We teach or train people with the resource, which is written at the high school reading level (tenth graders and above). An elementary version is in development that will be written at the fourth-grade level. My background is in Aerospace Engineering. My wife and I are writers, missionaries overseas, grandparents, and have many daughters and sons of the heart.
