The third single from their 1989 debut album. Written by bassist Rachel Bolan and guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo. It’s about a guy who can't let go of the memory of the girl he loves. His days are endless and his nights sleepless as he obsesses over her, refusing to move on.
When playing live, in the early days Sabo and Scotti Hill would both play acoustics until the solo when Scotti would switch to an electric for it. Sabo would also switch to electric thereafter. Post Bach lineup, Sabo would play acoustic and Hill would have an electric the whole time with Sabo switching to electric during the solo.
The music video plays on the "skid row" theme, showing a homeless guy carrying around pictures of the girl he can't get off his mind.
