A Line Cliché is a type of chord progression where we have a chord where either the highest or lowest voice is climbing or descending by semitones whilst the rest of the chord is static. It is a very common technique in jazz music but has also been used extensively in pop and rock music too.
And, an extra special thanks goes to Peter Keller, Douglas Lind, Vidad Flowers, Ivan Pang, Waylon Fairbanks, Jon Dye, Austin Russell, Christopher Ryan, Toot & Paul Peijzel, the channel’s Patreon saints! ????
