Just one of many highlights from the Memento Mori album, and this stripped-back version (without those macabre/cheesy/Beach Boys'eque keyboard sounds) was an absolute treat. I filmed this from the foot of the stage, and couldn't help but sing along (getting some of the words wrong!!). At the end, just as the applause was dying down, I took a chance and launched into a refrain of the chorus (trying to kick-start a sing-a-long, as per always happens at the end of 'Home' which we didn't get to hear at this gig). And....it worked, those around me quickly joined in, and the band let it happen! Martin genuinely looked delighted, Peter picked up the song on the keyboard again, and Dave waved along. Maybe this can be the start of a new end-of-song tradition for Soul with Me! Over to y'all to make it happen!
