Perhaps the most controversial issue in Christian-Muslim dialog is the subject of child marriage. Today, it's not hard to find Muslims expressing a wide variety of opinions, ranging from it was never a part of Islam, to it was allowed but only for the past, to it's valid today. This wasn't always the case. For more than 1000 years, scholar after scholar openly talked about the practice of child marriage and prepubescent sex, with virtually no disagreement. MK joins me live to take a "deep dive" into what the Sharia scholars wrote about child marriage in their fiqh manuals. Warning: their depravity might be hard to swallow for the uninitiated.
