Welcome to Las Vegas: The Strip, Treasure Island, Gordon Ramsey Burger, and Fremont Street.
This was our first trip to Las Vegas and we have to say that it did not let us down. Even if all you do is people watch on the Strip, you will never have a dull time. During our time in Las Vegas we stayed at "Treasure Island - TI Hotel & Casino, a Radisson Hotel", and at the "Downtowner Boutique Hotel" in Downtown Las Vegas. We would recommend both of these hotels to anyone who is heading into the Las Vegas area.

Treasure Island - TI Hotel & Casino, a Radisson Hotel, has really great rates overall, but they have especially great rates during the weekdays. We stayed in a single room with a kind sized bed for only $90 a night, but we were there on a weekday/night; be advised that Fridays and weekends tend to be much more expensive. The Downtowner also has really great prices and it is a fun place to say in Downtown Las Vegas. The building itself is a hip little newly renovated, mid century modern motel, that was transformed into a hotel. The decor is trendy and they have a lobby bar in the entrance that has a good selection of micro brews. It is also a very affordable place to stay in Downtown Las Vegas, and it is right on the Corner of Fremont Street. Her is a link to the hotel. https://downtownerlv.com/

If you get hungry while walking around on the main strip Gordon Ramsey Burger in a fantastic place to grab a bite! The restaurant is conveniently located right inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which is more or less in the midway point of the strip.
