Normally, the Coaches on The Voice are always trying their best to convince the Contestants that they should pick them to be their Coach. But to get Jacquie Roar on their team, there is a different scenario, they needed to convince her cute and beautiful 6-year-old daughter.

The powerhouse Jacquie Roar, a 37-year-old wedding DJ who is also a lead singer in a country music band in North Plains, Oregon, performed a high energy, fiery rendition of Gretchen Wilson’s “I am Here for the Party” that resulted spontaneous Four-Chair Turn. (The performance was so energetic and fiery that Roar lost an earring dropped on the floor of stage, prompting Coach Reba McEntire to say that she had “heard of dropping the mic but never dropping the earring. That was a great closer there.” McEntire tries to convince her to choose her as coach, she said I love your outfit, looks great and I also really liked your song choice I am very familiar with that, your range is incredible, I love the low and high parts and you did great job.

As a country singer, McEntire seemed like the obvious choice for Jacquie Roar to go with, John Legend asked Roar, did you already plan to pick Reba? Roar said she promised herself that she would “hear everyone out.”

Niall Horan also praised Roar, saying she could tackle “anything from Lenny Kravitz to Aerosmith.” That was insane, it was like listening to Stevie, to Steven Tyler. The song choices that are in the scope for you are endless, anything from Kravitz to Aerosmith, any of that stuff, you are going to be a showstopper on the show, I would love to have you on my team.

Ultimately, though, it was Leilani, Roar’s 6 years old cute daughter, who made the call. Prior to the performance, Leilani said her mom’s voice sounded like Gwen Stefani’s, though Roar explained they didn’t actually sound that similar. Leilani, though, is a fan of Stefani’s, especially her song “Rich Girl,” and when Roar asked her daughter to come out on stage and help her pick, that’s who the 6-year-old went with.
